Erin Brown, Registered Dental Hygienist
My name is Erin Brown. I am a dental hygienist. I have been practicing for 20 years. I have been with Swanson Dental for 3. We have a 14 year old son, Jackson. Outside of work we enjoy being with familyand friends,traveling,fishing and boating when we aren’t watching Jackson’s sporting events!!!!!
Maddie Welter, Registered Dental Assistant
Maddie joined our office shortly after graduating from dental assisting school at DMACC in 2023. She brings her shining, fun-loving personality to the office. Maddie enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, shopping, walking her dog, and being social. The staff and patients will miss her when she continues her education in hygiene school.
Suzy Jurgensen, Front Desk Coordinator
Suziy knows that a smile can go a long way, and the dental field is a wonderful place to spread smiles. As a front desk treatment coordinator, I get to meet so many amazing people and build relationships. She started out as a dental receptionist from 2008 to 2013 and worked in the cosmetics field after that. She joined Swanson Family Dental April 2023, Suzie enjoys spending time with her husband Aric, sons Sawyer and Nolan, and daughter Avery. She especially enjoys watching her kids play baseball, soccer, and hockey. Suzie is from McCallsburg and has over 18 years of experience at the front desk.
Kallista McIntyre, Registered Dental Hygienist
Kallista graduated from DMACC with a degree in Applied Science(AAS) of Dental Hygiene in 2018. She has spent her 7-year dental career with Swanson Dental. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children on their acreage.
Johnita McArthur, Registered Dental Assistant
My name is Johnita McArthur I started with Swanson Dental in October of 2024. I study Dental Assisting at DMACC in Ankeny and graduate in 1994. I’ve been married for 30 years to my wonderful husband Kevin who is a probation officer for the State of Iowa. I have 3 grown kids Tyler Murphy she is also a Dental Assistant is married and has my first granddaughter Valley May who is 2 yrs. Old and expecting another girl in July 2025 Ellowyn Summer. Then Austin McArthur he is 25 yrs old he works at Interstate battery and works very hard. Then there my youngest Quinton McArthur he graduated from Iowa in 2024 and works for Collin’s aerospace he has a degree in industrial engineering. I’m a proud mom and grandma. I love spending time with family and friends.
Amy Ryan, Office Coordinator/Front Desk
Amy joined Swanson Family Dental in 2008 as a registered dental assistant, and then transitioned to the front office in 2011. She stays current with continuing dental education and office management classes—a commitment she takes seriously to help patients maintain their dental health and understand all of their questions regarding treatment and insurance. Amy’s passion outside of work is her family. She loves spending time with her husband, Cody, and their children Luke, and Alli. She also enjoys traveling, biking and hanging out with her pets.
